Description
This workshop is open to advisors at all levels of Canvas experience, from those just getting started with canvas to those looking to refine and strengthen an existing advising course page. Participants will gain hands-on guidance, best practices, and time to bring your own Canvas page for individualized support and feedback.
Following the workshop, participants are encouraged to stick around for a Title II Office Hour Session from 2:00–3:00 PM, hosted by the Office of Disability Services (ODS), IT, Web Services, and JMU Libraries. This optional session will provide additional support and consultation related to accessibility, technology, and instructional design. All online resources hosted by JMU must meet basic digital accessibility standards by April 24, 2026. This office hour is a great opportunity to get ahead and receive guidance.
