Professional Experience 

Terri Yoder recently retired from teaching for 30 years in Harrisonburg City Public Schools. She taught Kindergarten through 3rd grade as a classroom teacher, on the English side of a 2nd Grade Dual Language Classroom, K-4 as an ESL teacher, and had a short stint as a school librarian. Her varied experiences in an elementary school setting have led to a professional interest focused on building community and collaborative learning skills within diverse student groups. She is excited to bring her love of learning to JMU as an Academic Advising Technician in the Education Support Center.
