JMU Football nationally ranked again

As of November 16, 2026, JMU Football is 9-1 overall and 7-0 in the conference. Now, JMU is nationally ranked in both major polls for the first time this season coming in at #21 in the AP Top 25 and #22 in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
JMU history project preserves veterans' voices

JMU’s Veterans History Project is an initiative to archive veterans’ stories for preservation in the Library of Congress. The goal of this project is to give a platform to generations of American veterans through interviews, written accounts and photographs being collected for the Library of Congress. Interviews for the project began in the Fall of 2024 and were completed in the Spring of 2025.
Important FAFSA dates you should know

The 2026–2027 FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid) is open and can be completed at www.studentaid.gov. Visit our FAFSA page for more information.
Students applying to James Madison University and seeking scholarship consideration should file the FAFSA by January 1, 2026 to maximize their eligibility.
To meet JMU’s priority filing deadline, be sure to submit your FAFSA by March 1, 2026.
