Microsoft Office Updates for the Macintosh

Periodically, Microsoft releases updates and security patches for the Microsoft Office suite. Current releases of Office offer the option for automated Office updates or you can still download updates from Microsoft's Mac Download site.

Automated Microsoft Office Updates

  1. Open any program in Microsoft Office, such as Word, and click on Help
  2. Choose Check for Updates
  3. Then on the Microsoft AutoUpdate window, select Automatically and either Daily or Weekly from the selection field.

  4. To end and save your settings, close the Microsoft AutoUpdate window by clicking on the red button in the top left corner.
