Anna Gitchell is a first-year English graduate student at James Madison University. Her work primarily focuses on applying Freud’s concept of the Uncanny across various time periods and media, with a specialization in 21st-century film and media. 

Anna is supporting principal investigators with grant editing and proposal development while actively building advanced skills in research communication and funding strategy.
