Fadi Majzoub is a Research Development Associate in the College of Business. He joined JMU in 2023 as a lecturer and teaches courses in corporate management, negotiation, leadership and change management, strategic planning, entrepreneurship, and critical thinking.

Fadi’s research focuses on leadership, especially the Charismatic, Ideological, and Pragmatic (CIP) leadership theory. His paper “The CIP Leadership Theory: A Temporal Model Development” received the Best Research Paper Award at JMU’s SSLS Leading Change Conference in 2025. His current work examines how CIP leadership styles affect the performance of college student teams and sales performance in for-profit organizations. He has also written on entrepreneurship in higher education and on pragmatic leadership in times of crisis. In 2026 he co-authored “Navigating (and Hopefully Avoiding) the College Closure” for Forbes.

Alongside his academic work, Fadi has served as CEO of Westford Lebanon since 2015 and as a Co-Founder of Westford Consulting Partners since 2026. His earlier roles include managing partner at Fast & Associates, director of sales and marketing at Profiles RH LLC, MBA instructor at Westford School of Management, and projects manager at OTEC. He holds a Ph.D. in Strategic Leadership Studies from JMU, an M.B.A. in Strategic Management from the University of Wales, and a B.E. in Civil Engineering from the American University of Beirut. At JMU he advises the Muslim Student Association and the Global Commerce Club. He also serves on the boards of the Rotary Club of Harrisonburg, where he is a Paul Harris Fellow, NewBridges Immigrants Resource Center, and the Tripoli Entrepreneurs Club / Jadwa 06. He is excited to help College of Business faculty strengthen their research and pursue new funding opportunities.
