Enrollment verifications for the following purposes are completed at Registration Services in the Registrar's Office, by the Client Services Team (540-568-6281 or registrar@jmu.edu). 

If you need a letter for enrollment verification, please visit the Enrollment Vertification page on the Registrar's site. JMU offers access to printing enrollment verifications from home 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  

The following are NOT processed by the Veterans Benefit team:

  • Renewal of military ID
  • Scholarship
  • Health Insurance
  • Car Insurance
  • Degree or graduation date verification
  • Driver’s license replacement

If you have a separate form (insurance, scholarship, etc.) to be completed by the Office of the Registrar, we suggest that you obtain the enrollment verification through National Student Clearinghouse as directed above and attach the verification to your form.   Please contact the Registration Services Team at 540-568-6281 with questions

Note: Enrollment certification referenced in VA’s letter results in payments by Department of Treasury for VA educational benefits. If you need this enrollment certification, please contact the Veterans Benefit team (540-568-6569). A “Letter of Student Status” form is not required when requesting payment of VA benefits.
