We ask that donations be new or gently used, in ready to wear condition, with no stains, odors, tears, or missing buttons, when brought to one of the drop off locations. All donation items should be cleaned and on hangers, when appropriate.

Appropriate items for donations include business suits, dress shirts, blouses, professional slacks, jackets and/or skirts. Dress shoes, ties, belts, and scarves are also accepted.

JMU Career Closet CANNOT accept the following: Winter Coats, Trench Coats, high-heeled shoes over 3 inches or strappy sandals.

Boys and Girls Club - ZSH 101

CoB Student Diversity Council/ SIE will be heading up an activity for Boys and Girls Club participants.

Operation Gratitude - ZSH 103

Sponsor Organization – Beta Alpha Psi

Join Beta Alpa Psi members write letters to Service Members, Veterans, Recruit Graduates, First Responders or a Wounded Hero & their Caregiver. 

Students will come in, be given a card in which they will write a card to one of the above people. The purpose of the letter is to express one's gratitude for the bravery and service of those in and affiliated with the armed forces.

Epsilon Nu Tau will be heading up an activity for On the Road Collaborative participants.

Book Drive - ZSH 203

Sponsor Organization – American Marketing Association

The American Marketing Association will be collecting new or gently used children, teen, young adult and adult books. Books collected will be donated to Massanutten Regional Library.

NOTE: No textbooks or encyclopedias will be accepted.

Coat Drive - ZSH Second Floor Lobby

Sponsor Organization – Student Advisory Council

Drop off new or gently coats for men, women, and children. Cold weather accessories (hats, gloves, socks and scarves are also accepted).

Project Linus - ZSH 106

Sponsor Organization – Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA-PBL)

Join members of FBLA make blankets. Stop by any time throughout the event, but please plan at least a half hour to allow you time to complete the beginner’s level blanket. How to guides will be provided that you can work at your own pace.

ASCM will be volunteering their time sorting and inventorying medical supplies for the organization Hospital Cargo at Dr. Conrad Zapanta’s office in Harrisonburg.

Join Pi Sigma Epsilon in making dog toys for the local SPCA. Stop by any time throughout the event. Instructions are provided to assist you completing a toy.
