Navadeepam Educational Social Trust (NEST), a non-profite, non-governmental organization registered under Indian Trust Act, is striving hard in 45 Panchayat Villages in Lalgudi Block, Trichirapalli District, TamilNadu, South India for empowerment of poor, downtrodden, disadvantaged, disabled and suppressed people. NEST registration number is 1301/03. NEST was approved by Income Tax Department, Government of India obtained 12-A Certificate and Tax exemptions under section 80-G of I.T Act. Local donations are exempted under this 80G. Present Activities: Small Village School Evening Tuition Centre for Rural Poor Children. Educational Scholarship and Free School Uniform Assistance to rural poor children. Medical Referral and Assistance to rural poor pregnant women and widows. Feeding the poor destitute and children. Small Financial Assistance to women for Income Generation Programmes. Guidance and Rehabilitation Support to Disabled and Aged Persons. Special Programs for peaceful co-existence of all religion people. Counseling for the needy.
