Research Description
I am an infectious disease molecular epidemiologist studying malaria and other vector-borne and emerging infections. Using molecular biology, genomics, serology, and epidemiological approaches, I investigate pathogen transmission, improve molecular diagnostics and genomic surveillance, and track the emergence and spread of drug resistance. My research also focuses on developing field-ready diagnostic and sequencing tools to strengthen disease surveillance and public health responses, particularly in resource-limited settings.
