 CARS Faculty and Graduate Assistants present at AALHE

Dr. Sara Finney, 1st year PhD student Kate Schaefer & 2nd year MA student Mara McFadden presented at the annual meeting of the Association for the Assessment of Learning in Higher Education (AALHE) in Providence, RI in June 2022. Their session was titled “Students’ Understanding of and Engagement in Assessments Used for Institutional Improvement and Accountability”.  Click here to read more.

APT Rating Dates for 2022 Confirmed

The dates for the summer 2022 APT rater training and rating session have been confirmed. Faculty and graduate students will meet the week of July 18th to rate the 2022 APT reports. APT Feedback Reports for the 2020-2021 Academic Year were released on October 1, 2021.

Summer 2022 Assessment 101 Dates Posted!

The dates for the Assessment 101 workshops to be held in Summer 2022 are now posted on our page. There will be three sessions to choose from. The May session will be held in-person on JMU’s campus and is open exclusively to JMU employees. There will be two virtual sessions, one in June and one in August, for external participants.
