The James Madison University CoB Fifty to Infinity Scholarship Endowment was established by Dr. Michael Busing, as Dean of the College of Business, in celebration of the 50th anniversary of the College of Business. The endowment received gifts of all sizes from alumni, parents, faculty and staff, students, organizations and all other philanthropic friends of the College of Business.

Annual allocations from the endowment will provide five (5), $10,000 scholarships for incoming freshmen with specified declared majors in the College of Business.

The scholarships are renewable for three years as long as the recipient continues in one of the specified majors in the College of Business, maintains a cumulative GPA of 3.0 and is in good academic standing. 

Eligible students are encouraged to apply any time prior to the deadline—including before they are notified about acceptance to James Madison University.

Applicants must meet the following criteria to be eligible for the Cob Fifty to Infinity Scholarship:

• Demonstrated interest and commitment to study in an area of Business
• Declaration of a major in a designated College of Business program; these majors include:
  • Accounting
  • Business Management
  • Computer Information Systems
  • Economics
  • Finance
  • International Business
  • Marketing
  • Quantitative Finance
