Telnet
Telnet allows communication between two computers over a network. The disadvantage to telnet, is that your password is sent unencrypted. It is possible for someone to intercept the password. All our systems can be accessed with a secure shell program such as PuTTY.  PuTTY can be downloaded from JMU's software download site.
