The JMU Information Technology Help Desk provides support for JMU's recommended software http://www.jmu.edu/computing/support/software/ on Windows and Mac personally-owned computers.

Students, Faculty and Staff

Service covers:

Service Does Not cover:
  • Installing or upgrading operating system or application software 
  • Removing malware or viruses 
  • Recovering data 
  • Assisting with unsupported, third-party software

Service Turnaround Expectations:

  • Information Technology attempts to resolve software issues at our walk-up counter, over the phone, or through e-mail (within two business days)
  • Problems beyond our ability to diagnose and resolve through these methods will be referred to The Madison CyberZone's Service Center or an outside vendor of choice
