Computing HelpDesk - Mac OS X Terminal




Mac OS X:  SSH with Terminal

  • Browse to the Utilites folder and open Terminal





  • Once Terminal is open type the command ssh e-id@educ.jmu.edu where e-id is your JMU e-id





  • Once prompted enter in your Educ password - which is the same as your JMU e-ID password





  • Once logged in you will able to run commands





  • To close the session type Exit and press the Enter key
