During the summer between a Cadet's junior and senior year, they must attend the Advanced Course at Ft. Knox, Kentucky. This camp evaluates a Cadet's officer potential, how they respond to high stress situations, as well as evaluate their critical thinking and decision making skills in a small group setting. History indicates that JMU Cadets come to camp exceptionally prepared to excel.
