De-Stress Fest: May 4-6, 2026 

De‑Stress Fest is a three‑day series of events designed to give students a chance to relax, recharge, and have fun before finals begin. Join us for crafts, games, massages, meditation, music, and more—whether you want to unwind solo or hang out with friends, there’s something for everyone. Here are the series of events: 

Monday, May 4th, 2026 

  • Massage Monday: Stop by for a midday reset! Treat yourself to a chair massage from professional massage therapists, grab a refreshing drink from our dirty soda bar, and enjoy a calm, welcoming space to unwind before the week ramps up. 
    • 12:00-3:00pm The Union, Warren 256 
    • What to expect: 
      • Free professional chair massages 
      • Dirty soda bar and refreshments  
      • A relaxed, drop-in atmosphere
      • Additional stress-relief activities and goodies  
  • Billiards Tournament: The Billiards Club partners with De‑Stress Fest to put your pool skills to the test! Compete in a friendly tournament or come watch and hang out with friends. 
    • 6:00-8:00pm TDU 
    • What to expect: 
      • Pool tournament hosted by the Billiards Club
      • Open to all skill levels 
      • Prizes and bragging rights  
      • Casual, fun environment 

Tuesday May 5th, 2026 

  • 5th Grade Field Day: Let’s come together to enjoy some springtime outside with a throwback to 5th grade Field Day! Hosted with SLI, the Counseling Center, Well‑Dukes, and Centennial Scholars Program, this event is all about movement, laughter, and connection. 
    • 2:00-5:00pm Hillside Field 
    • What to expect: 
      • Outdoor field games: cornhold, Spikeball, Kan-Jam, volleyball, and more 
      • Free food including walking tacos, popcorn, and drinks 
      • Music, sunshine, and good vibes  
  • Singo: Grab some friends or come solo for SINGO—song bingo! Listen to music clips, mark your card, and win prizes.
    • 7:00-9:00pm TDU 
    • What to expect: 
      • Music-based bingo game 
      • Free and easy to play
      • Fun prizes  
      • High-energy but low-stress fun  

Wednesday, May 6th 2026 

  • Sound Healing Workshop: Come to the Serentity Center to relax and recharge while we offer a sound healing class that walks you through an hour of meditative practices.
    • LIMITED SPACE AVALIABLE – reservation required. 18 people.
    • 10-11am and 11-12am in the Serenity Center (The Union, Warren 419) 
    • What to expect:
      • 1 hour 
      • Sound healing meditation class 
  • UPB x Student Life LDOC Celebration: Enjoy a lively, fun event with UPB and Student Life to celebrate the last day of classes! There will be fun goodies, food, and time to spend outside with others. 
    • 11am-2pm in Warner Commons
    • What to expect:
      • Food truck
      • DJ
      • Facepainting
      • Craft Kits  
  • Tea Time: Enjoy the last Tea Time of the year in a cozy, relaxed setting. Take a break from studying to sip tea, snack, and recharge.
    • 3:00-5:00pm Union 3rd Floor Lounge
    • What to expect:
      • Tea 
      • Scones, muffins, pastries 
      • Talking with friends
