7:30 a.m. - Check-In 
After you park in the Mason Street Parking Deck, come grab your materials for the day! Check-in is required.

Campus administrators will officially welcome you to the JMU community and help to prepare you and your student for the JMU learning experience.

Your student is starting an exciting academic journey. Academic Affairs Leadership and First Year Advising will share key expectations, advising insights, and resources to help your student succeed.

Health & Well-Being: Empowering your Student
Join us to explore key skills that support your student's growth and well-being at JMU. Learn through real-life scenarios, a conversation checklist, and more.

Career Readiness

Transition is a process, not an event. Residence Life and Orientation and Transition staff will provide details to help you prepare your student for move-in and Weeks of Welcome.
