John Foley
Music Performance: Double Bass with a jazz studies minor
Junior

John is a multi-instrumentalist from West Chester, Pennsylvania. He is studying Music Performance on Double Bass under Sam Suggs. Whether he's honing his musical skills or learning something completely new, his curiosity and determination are steadfast. John serves as a founding member and president of the JMU Bass Club. Outside of his musical and academic pursuits, John enjoys working out with friends at UREC and cheering on the Dukes at Bridgeforth Stadium. As an Impact and Innovation fellow, John is excited to expand his understanding of the creative process and further develop his leadership skills. To keep up with John's musical endeavors, follow him on Instagram @j.foleymusic

John was interested in becoming an Impact and Innovation Fellow at JMU X-labs because he has a passion for working with other creative minds on projects. He is excited to get to work with the other fellows and staff. Given that this is John’s first hands-on experience at JMU X-Labs, he hopes to provide the program a new perspective and fresh insight to the program.
