My name is Julie and I grew up in McGaheysville so I am a local girl!  I graduated from George Mason University in 2011 with degrees in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and Global Affairs.  I have worked in higher education for over 11 years.  My career at JMU started in 2020 with the Office of Admissions.  Outside of work-  I love to cook, eat, read, spend time with my friends and family, go to JMU football and basketball games, travel, and learn about different cultures. Fun Facts about me: I’m adopted, my husband brought a large rottweiler to our marriage, and I've been to over 30 countries! I am always looking for my next adventure.  I also love learning and helping others plan for their future and excited to do that on the Benefits Team.
