Reka is a graduate assistant at the Center for Global Engagement, working with the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) team. She joined James Madison University’s master’s program in Sports and Recreation Leadership after earning her bachelor’s degree in marketing at JMU, where she also earned professional certifications in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.

In her role with ISSS, Reka uses her background in digital marketing and design to coordinate student programming, manage official social media channels, and support outreach initiatives for the international community at JMU. Having navigated the transition as an international student at JMU herself, she is passionate about helping new and returning students feel welcomed, supported, and connected on campus.

With her creative skills, and international background, Reka brings dynamic energy to the ISSS team to enhance engagement across JMU’s global community. In her free time, she likes to bake, and spend time with friends.
