Amy Krabbenhoft joined the Center for Global Engagement in January 2025 as an Operations Assistant and now serves as the Passport Center & Operations Specialist. In this role, she coordinates the daily operations of JMU’s Passport Acceptance Facility and assists students, faculty, staff, alumni, and community members with passport services. She also continues to provide operational support for the Center for Global Engagement and enjoys creating welcoming, helpful experiences for everyone who visits the Center. Whether assisting someone with their first passport or supporting the Center’s programs and services, Amy values helping people take the next steps toward their own global experiences.
Since joining the Center for Global Engagement, Amy has enjoyed expanding her knowledge of international education and contributing to the many ways CGE connects people with the world. She earned a B.S. in Health Science from James Madison University in 2022 and is proud to be a JMU alumna. She values learning about different cultures and global perspectives and supporting opportunities that encourage people to engage with the world in meaningful ways.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family and appreciating the simple moments of everyday life. She loves gardening, taking in the Shenandoah Valley’s natural beauty, and spending time with her husband and their two cats.
