Regan Elmore joined the Center for Global Engagement in July 2026 as a Visiting Student Program Coordinator. She earned her B.A. from James Madison University in May 2025. As an alumna of JMU’s Independent Scholars program, Regan tailored her academic focus around East Asian Studies with minors in Anthropology, Asian Studies, and Honors Interdisciplinary Studies.

During her undergraduate studies, she spent time abroad in Japan conducting research for her senior capstone thesis, Fortune Telling and Divination in Contemporary Japan. Leveraging her background in global research and cultural studies, she works to design engaging immersion initiatives while strengthening connections between the local campus community and a global student network.
