Jessica joins the CGE with 15 years of wide-ranging teaching experience, from early childhood to college. Among her roles, she has served as a high school Film & Video teacher, an Infant & Toddler caregiver, a Kindergarten Assistant and a museum Front Desk associate. Supportively guiding people of all ages through new experiences has been a throughline of her career – whether it was a student’s first attempt with a new skill, a child’s very first teacher, or a family’s introduction to public school. Now, as a Program Coordinator for Global Learning and Partnerships, she is grateful for the privilege of welcoming Visiting Students – whether it’s their first experience with travel, first time in the US, or their introduction to JMU and the Shenandoah Valley. Lastly, Jessica’s most treasured role is as Mom to two incredible boys who continue to inspire their parents with adventures in music, theater, aviation, travel, and friendship.
