Andrea began working at JMU in 2018 and has worked in various departments across campus in fiscal positions, including Nursing, the College of Education, The School of Communication Studies, and Accounts Payable. She joined the Center for Global Engagement as the Fiscal Manager in 2025. She is thrilled to be part of the CGE family, and loves being able to support the mission of CGE. Andrea is also a graduate of James Madison University, with a B.A in History, and loves working at her alma mater!

After graduating from JMU, Andrea spent nearly a decade doing what she passionately refers to as her “dream job” working in daycare. Andrea adores children and seeing the world through their eyes. After having children of her own, Andrea transitioned out of full-time daycare work, and into a part-time position at EMU to spend more time with her kids.

In her free time, Andrea enjoys nothing more than being with her family. Her biggest joy is watching her children discover their passions, whether it be on stage in a musical theatre production, competing in a sport, or horseback riding. As a family, they enjoy awesome adventures together such as biking, swimming, and weekend getaways to various vacation spots.
