The Cohen Center

The Cohen Center serves the university community with innovative programming related to interdisciplinary graduate education and the professionalization of graduate students. Through the use of speakers, workshops, roundtables and presentations, the center engages important issues that affect us in a modern, technological world, on a local, national and global level.

The center is housed in the Cohen Graduate Student Professional Development Center (Grad Center), which is located in Madison Hall room 4000. The Grad Center is open to all graduate students during regular building hours (8:00 am – 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday).

New Logo Design Competition

The Cohen Center is looking for a newly designed logo to represent the center. The logo should reflect the center’s mission to foster intellectual engagement, interdisciplinary collaboration and a strong sense of community for all graduate students. The winning submission will be featured in Cohen Center materials and the student designing it will receive a cash prize. 
Please submit all entries as .TIFF format files of an image resolution of at least 300 dpi to Michael Klein ( by April 30. All graduate students are eligible to submit a design and may submit up to three entries each.
