Overview of the program

Students entering JMU as first year students starting in Fall 2020 may choose to complete a 4-year path to teacher licensure which results in the student being eligible for a Virginia Teaching License in grades 6-12 at the end of their 4th year. Students will major in Secondary Education and their content area.
