How do I activate AppleTalk in OS X?

AppleTalk is Apple's networking protocol that allows Macs to share files and printers over a network.

1. From the Apple menu, select System Preferences 

2. From the View menu, select Network.
3. Next to "Show:" or "Configure:", select your Ethernet option (e.g., Built-in Ethernet).
4. Click the AppleTalk tab.
5. To activate AppleTalk, place a checkmark in the box next to Make AppleTalk Active. Similarly, to de-activate AppleTalk, remove the checkmark from this box.
6. Click the Apply Now.
