IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT RE: UPGRADE TO WINDOWS VISTA & MAC OSX LEOPARD ~ FOR FACULTY ~ All general PC labs and PC technology classrooms will be upgraded to Windows Vista and all general Mac labs and Mac technology classrooms will be upgraded to OS X Leopard this summer. Though we have been testing Vista and Leopard in select labs and have made every effort to communicate this information with end users for the past year, we are unable to anticipate what, if any, impact this upgrade may have on your class-specific software. It is the sole responsibility of all requestors of class-specific software to research and test your software for compatibility. If you have not yet had the opportunity, please evaluate your software as soon as possible. After testing, if you have concerns regarding this upgrade, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can work together to address your concerns. |

General Labs Faculty Folder
This folder is created to give faculty a place to temporarily store files they want to share with their students. When the account is created, a folder is named with the
user EID of the requestor within the Faculty Folder. The requestor has full read/write/create/delete/file scan rights within
their designated folder. All lab users have read-only access to all folders within the faculty folder from L:\LS\common\ in the general labs.
Technology Classrooms Faculty Folder
This folder is accessible to anyone logging in with the TechPC logon from any of the technology classrooms. Faculty can access this folder from a shortcut in the tech classrooms.
