How do I access JMU On-Campus Wireless Network?

There are two methods to access the on-campus wireless network:

On June 28th, 2009, JMU Information Technology will enable Clientless Wireless (no VPN) to use the wireless network name or Service Set Identifier (SSID) of JMU-Official-Wireless (formerly JMU-Pilot-Wireless). The VPN will use the network SSID of JMU-VPN-Wireless.

Wireless

On June 28th, 2009, the wireless pilot moves into production. Its new name (SSID) will be JMU-Official-Wireless. Previously, users connected to the SSID of JMU-Pilot-Wireless. Former Windows XP Professional wireless pilot users will need to use the configuration instructions below and configure it as if you are connecting for the first time. Windows Vista (Enterprise, Business) and Macintosh OS X (Leopard, Tiger) users will need to follow the configuration instructions listed below and connect to JMU-Official-Wireless.
