CampusNet Connection Guide
Step 1: Connect your Mac to the network jack in your room with an Ethernet cable and open System Preferences.
From the Apple Menu, select System Preferences to display the window shown below.

Step 2: Open the Network control panel and configure your network settings.
Click the Network icon to display the Network control panel window shown below.

Select your Ethernet adaptor from the left pane.
Select "Using DHCP" from the Configure IPv4 drop down list.
Click the Advanced button on the bottom right.
Click the Proxies tab to display the next window shown below.

Uncheck all option boxes as shown.
Click the OK button, and then the Apply button to save your changes.
Step 3: Keep you system safe from viruses and malicious attacks.
Now that your computer is configured and plugged into the network connection, you will need to register your computer before your Internet applications will work. To register, open Internet Explorer and you will automatically be sent to the registration web page. Once your computer has been registered, we require that you keep your system software updated and use Symantec Anti-virus to protect your computer.
