Description:

Learning about an organization can be a challenge. Learning about an organization with 4,000 employees, 22,000 students, 7 Vice Presidents and 148 buildings can feel almost impossible. 

But don’t worry. We’ve got you covered. 

In this workshop, we will take you on a JMU 101 journey where you will learn about the JMU organization structure, the types of positions available for employment, acronyms that are used on a regular basis, and more. 
  
Learning Objectives: 

  • Discuss the common acronyms used within the organization 
  • Review key departments and personnel (the who's who at JMU) 
  • Learn important facts regarding the history of JMU
