Description:

Do you find investing confusing? Learn about asset classes, diversification and the three investment paths available to you within the VRS Defined Contribution Plans. (This workshop is appropriate for participants in the Commonwealth of Virginia 457 Deferred Compensation Plan, Virginia Cash Match Plan and/or the Hybrid Retirement Plan.)

In this workshop, participants will:

• Learn what investment options are available to you to invest your Hybrid, 457 and/or cash match monies
• Understand what an asset class is
• Understand what a ‘target date fund’ is and what it can do for you
• What is diversification and why is it important
