Description:

This is a pre-requisite for Intro to AI Part II: AI in the Worplace (IT240)

Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing how we work in higher education, from helping with administrative tasks to improving student services and experiences. But using AI comes with big responsibilities. This session will help you understand the ethical considerations behind AI tools and how they impact your work. You’ll leave with practical insights to make informed decisions and protect both your integrity and the university’s reputation. 

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify key ethical principles in AI use within higher education, including data privacy, accuracy, and 
    environmental impacts 
  • Recognize potential risks and biases in AI services 
  • Leave with guidelines for responsible AI use in your daily work to enhance efficiency without compromising ethics
