Description:

Good communication is critical to our success and happiness at work, and yet communication breakdowns occur every day. Despite our best intentions, we can send the wrong message or misinterpret our co-workers' emails, voicemails or conversations. In this workshop participants will:                        

• Identify some common barriers to effective communication in the workplace                         
• Learn the important building blocks of a well formulated message                                                                   
• Explore the power of listening well                                                   
• Learn a simple model for having a difficult conversation
