Finding(s) & Incident(s) Description:
Alcohol (Responsible); Endangerment (Responsible); Hazing (Responsible); In the course of investigating a report of hazing, it was determined that alcohol was provided to and consumed by underage members and that alcohol was not properly monitored and distributed at an organization event. It was determined that the following hazing behaviors occurred: forced designated driving assignments, assigned sober monitoring, and forced event setup and cleaning.

Deffered Suspension through summer of 2024 with monthly meetings with FSL, Pi Kappa Alpha Administrative Offices, and Executive Board member(s); Chapter Recommitment Process due October 1, 2023; Social Host Management workshop due October 1, 2023; Confrontation and Accountability workshop due October 15, 2023; New Member Experience Workshop Series due December 8, 2023; Recommendation: JMU and Pi Kappa Alpha cultivate a Chapter Advisory Board due May 2, 2024.
