The LC Micro-Gallery adorns a hallway in the Learning Centers space, transforming what could be just an educational or office space (it adjoins our copy room) into a small space to appreciate the creativity of our JMU community. The gallery displays work by JMU students and employees and is open to guests whether or not they have an appointment with the Learning Centers.

Come by and sign the guest book to show appreciation to our artists!

“Visible Silence: Collages of Movement and Memory”

Ver has created over 15 murals on JMU’s campus and throughout the city of Harrisonburg that are now spaces of discussion and community. His theory of aesthetics sees any surface, whether canvas or wall, as a site for storytelling, resistance, and re-connection. This exhibition offers 10 prints from Ver’s painting and collage practice, which ask viewers to engage with movement, survival, and the complex experiences of migration. Learn more about this artist and the exhibit
