Alyson completed a PhD at the University of California, Merced, in 2023, and has a Master’s in Paleopathology from Durham University. Her research reconsiders extant archaeological collections, like legacy skeletal collections. Of particular interest, is the use and disuse of skeletal remains from these collections as objects and their place in producing narratives of the past.
