The Office of Faculty Success is pleased to announce the creation of a Faculty Success Fund for summer 2025. The purpose of this fund is to provide faculty with the opportunity to dedicate time and energy to improving a course or instructional project. Faculty will also have access to CFI support through participation in programs such as Summer Scholarship Retreats @ Farm or by requesting consultations. Faculty proposals will be reviewed by faculty peers and evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Project Feasibility: Proposals identify a selected course or instructional project and clearly articulate a plan for improvement or development. The anticipated scope of work should be able to be completed within 60 hours; however, proposals can be a portion of a larger project or initiative.
- Anticipated Instructional Outcomes: Proposals identify the intended outcomes or changes that may result from work on this course or instructional project.
- Impact on Student Experience: Proposals articulate how student learning and experience may be impacted as an outcome of this project.
- Anticipated Supports: Proposals communicate what supports (both internal and external) are needed to successfully complete the project
- Self-Reflection: Proposals identify how these funds will be used to further develop the faculty member as an instructor.
