Our Mission
JMU Event Management serves the university by leading campus schedulers and service providers through the application of an annual event scheduling timeline, administration of university event scheduling software and coordination of comprehensive event planning resources.
With fairness, integrity, and perspective we collaborate to
- establish 'Major' events first as the cornerstone of the annual scheduling timeline
- deliver software training and support to schedulers, as well as all event sponsors
- publish information to varied scheduling processes, policies, and procedures
- manage the JMU Calendar of Events, derived from the event scheduling software, and provide event data for campus websites and digital signage display
