About the Minor
A minor in English offers an opportunity to study literature beyond the 200-level. It is a great choice if you like to read literature and want to be exposed to more authors, literary periods, genres, and perspectives, or if you want to build your writing and critical thinking skills. As the foundation of the liberal arts, minoring in English enhances the value of your college degree and is a useful and rewarding complement to any major.
The undergraduate catalog contains a complete description of university degree requirements and specific requirements for the English minor.
