The university is not closed. In response to the COVID-19 virus, the university has deployed multiple forms of virus-prevention protocols, and we are practicing social distancing and limited public interactions. All offices are functioning, but staffing is limited.

We are responding to inquiries initially via email or phone.

In case of an emergency, please contact JMU Public Safety at (540) 568-6911.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work together to navigate these challenges and address any questions or concerns you may have.

JMU Libraries (including the ETMC) will begin offering Click & Pickup on June 22. This is a new, tempoary service to allow JMU faculty, staff, and students to request and pick up books from the various library locations. Please see the Click & Pickup Page for more details. Once you have requested books, you will receive an email containing pickup directions.

The ETMC is committed to preparing all students in the College of Education and Professional Education Unit to be knowledgeable users of educational technology. The ETMC promotes the use of emerging technologies for learning and is responsive to educational technology needs of faculty and students in these programs.

The ETMC strives to be a welcoming space in Memorial Hall for members of the COE community to learn, study, and collaborate. As such we are commited to operationalizing the JMU Libraries Conduct Policy.

Our space includes study areas, books, technology, educational resources, and knowledgable staff ready to serve the COE.
