240 Tutoring
To help you prepare for the Praxis assessments, the College of Education is funding one month of free access to 240 Tutoring per student upon request. 240 Tutoring is an online, self-paced assessment preparation program with comprehensive, test-aligned digital guides, flash cards, diagnostic tests, quizzes, practice tests, and modules. This program takes time and dedication. Use this program as designed to be successful.
Follow your program's suggested timeline for Praxis preparation and completion. If you are not ready to request access now, you can request access in the future when you should begin preparing to take the assessment/s.
To request free access to 240 Tutoring for a 30-day period, please refer to the following steps and information:

- You will receive an email from teacher-ed@jmu.edu with directions about the invitation to access 240 Tutoring.
- Please read all the information included in the email from Teacher Ed before activating your account.
- From the time of activation, you will have 30 days of continuous access to the tutoring resources.
- This is a College of Education funded opportunity. If you choose to activate it then you are making a commitment to utilize this resource.
- All students qualify for this opportunity even if they have already begun utilizing 240 Tutoring.
- Please note: Study resources for Art Content Knowledge (5134), Earth Science (5572), Physics (5266), French (5174) and German (5183) tests are not available through 240 Tutoring.
After your free access period, you can continue to use 240 Tutoring at a discounted rate. Click here for more details.

The ETMC has a selection of Praxis Reference books available for 4-day checkout in the ETMC (located in Memorial Hall, room 7260).
Massanutten Regional Library also has test prep books that you can check out. JMU students can apply for a library card by bringing their Driver's License and JACard to one of the MRL locations.
