Program-specific admission requirements

The Master’s program serves as the “fifth” year for current JMU undergraduate students and no GMAT is required. Non-JMU students, except those who have passed all four sections of the CPA Exam, are required to take the GMAT. 

Prerequisites

Prerequisites are based on the background and previous training of the student. All students must be proficient with a spreadsheet program and have the following courses (or their equivalent) prior to starting M.S. in Accounting course work. Courses must be taken at an AACSB accredited school.
