Be a Duke for a Day! If you’re looking for a smaller, low-key visit to campus, Duke for a Day is for you! This on-campus experience is personalized just for admitted students. Bring your questions, navigate your next steps and get to know JMU! Your day will include:
- An info session about next steps
- Q&A with current JMU students
- A guided activity around campus with a Student Ambassador
- Lunch at one of our top-rated dining halls (registered students will receive one meal voucher)
- Time to visit student support offices to get your questions answered
Register for:
Students and family members will be separated for portions of the morning but will rejoin each other for afternoon activities. During this time, family members will take a traditional tour of campus.
Your day should end somewhere between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. and should definitely include a trip to the JMU Bookstore to stock up on all the purple and gold you can find!
