Academic Affairs Strategic Planning Committee
The Academic Affairs Strategic Planning (AASP) Committee is a diverse group of faculty and staff tasked with creating a strategic plan for the office of Academic Affairs.
Our AASP Charge
Recommend a strategic plan by April 30th, 2020 (the original proposed end-date was January 2020), which includes an updated mission statement, vision statement, values and strategic goals for implementation from 2020 to 2026.
Establish procedures to ensure communication, transparency, and participation from all corners of Academic Affairs and beyond.
Complete an environmental scan and research into future trends, issues, and other factors to inform the plan.
Our AASP Organizational Structure
The Academic Affairs Strategic Planning Committee Structure was designed to ensure transparency with multiple levels of input and feedback through the process.
The committee is now drafting high-level Action Items designed to ensure completion of the strategic goals. These Action Items will be submitted to the Provost Leadership Team (PLT) and the Academic Council (AC) for consideration.
The Academic Affairs Strategic Planning Committee is adhering to University guidelines regarding the COVID-19 pandemic. The timeline outlined below may be adjusted to ensure our staff and faculty's health and safety. We will update this site as the situation progresses.
