Changing Personal Info
VoiceMail gives you step-by-step
recorded instructions every time you dial into the system. Once you
are comfortable using VoiceMail, you can proceed without listening
to all the instructions each time. If you ever have any questions
or problems with your VoiceMail, you can call the JMU Telecom
Office at 568.6471 for assistance.
PLEASE NOTE: Check
and clear your messages regularly. In order to continue collecting
messages, your VoiceMail will automatically delete unplayed messages
after 2 weeks, and played messages will be deleted after 1 week.
DIAL 84411 (or 568.4411 off-campus)
ENTER YOUR PASSCODE
VoiceMail will first prompt you to "Press P" to play the current message. The next series of prompts will
be:
PRESS U (the 8 key)
to change User Options.
PRESS G (the 4 key)
to change your greeting.
PRESS N (the 6 key)
to change your name.
PRESS P (the 7 key)
to change your passcode.
PRESS X (the 9 key)
to exit the system.
Make your selection from this menu and follow
the instructions given to you. If you need to change more than one
item, you must re-enter the "U"
for User Options after you complete the first change. After all
the changes are made, always remember to:
PRESS X
to save the changes, and
PRESS X
to
exit the VoiceMail system.
