Computer Purchases

JMU PC Services is authorized to perform warranty work on both Dell and Apple computers. This warranty service is available for both JMU and personally-owned (students, faculty, and staff) computers.

• JMU-Owned Hardware Upgrades
  Upgrades are provided at a nominal cost for parts and installation. Hard drives, memory, bios, etc. are available.
  
  
• JMU Faculty, Staff and Student Personal Purchases
  Information at this site is for the purchase of personally-owned computers. Our experience is that both computers work well in our networked environment. JMU Procurement Services negotiates contracts with both Dell and Apple so these purchases do not have to go through the normal bidding process. Students, faculty, and staff benefit due to discounts negotiated by Procurement
