Outlook Plugin Utility



If you have received the following error message after your workstation has been upgraded from Symantec AntiVirus to Symantec Endpoint, there is a utility available to you to correct the problem.

To run the utility, first, CLOSE Outlook!

Go to the Control Panel and launch Run Advertised Programs.  Select Symantec AV Plugin Utility and click Run.

You should see the following message window open:

Click OK and after a moment another message window will appear:

Click Yes to allow the utility to delete the Extend.dat file.

You should now be able to reopen Outlook error free.

If there are multiple users on the workstation, each user may need to run the utility.
