JMU e-ID
All JMU students, faculty and staff activate and update their JMU e-ID (electronic identification) and password through the Accounts Portal. Learn more about your JMU e-ID that is created automatically upon affiliation with JMU. Your JMU e-ID and password allow you to access a variety of university applications such as MyMadison, Blackboard, and secure web pages and more.

Educ Linux Web Server
Educ - a Linux web server - is available to all JMU students, faculty and staff for publication purposes. Accounts are requested by logging into the Educ Request form with a JMU e-ID and password, then completing the online request. Passwords are synchronized with JMU e-ID passwords.

BeInvolved.jmu.edu is the web space available to Student Organizations for publishing organizational content.
Faculty/Staff

Network File Storage
Department Heads or Supervisors may request Network File Storage for new employees, to change access for existing employees, or to delete access for departing employees.

Specialized Departmental Active Directory Groups
Department Heads or Supervisors may request access for employees to Specialized Departmental Active Directory Groups such as Medicat, RMS, Allegiance, Kronus and more.
